MOTION GRAPHICS
These videos were created during a four-week workshop taught by Weixi Zeng. We were assigned to complete two final videos with randomly assigned subjects.
Project 1:
Create a promo video to showcase your assigned typeface. The final product should not exceed 20 seconds.
The typeface used is Nitti, a monospaced sans-serif designed by Pieter van Rosmalen. Its monospace design reminded me of the typefaces used when coding. Therefore, I created a video referencing the aesthetic of older computers that had green monochrome monitors.
Project 2:
Research your assigned city and design a mid-century inspired motion stamp for it. Graphics created should be relevant to the location and use simple shapes.
Given that Xonacatlan, Mexico is known for its textile industry, I created a simple repeating pattern that resembles traditional blankets.
